CNN calls it one of the worst insect epidemics in Texas history, and several agencies in Texas exist solely to fight the spread of fire ants in the Lone Star state. That is gross! Besides, it will kill your plants. What you need is a rabbit proof fence around the garden

Question by amzing10s: What is cutting the leaves off my garden plants?
I have veggie garden with various peppers and sweet potatoes. Over night, several of the plants had their leaves cut off near the stem. I don't think it was a rabbit since the leaves were not eaten, just left on the ground. I do not have fence, but did put some coyote urine around the garden to keep rabbits away. Any ideas of what it could be? I'm thinking insect or bird. Also how to do stop it going forward? Thank you (Also the plants were not uprooted)

sounds like a bug or a person who is jealous of you. bugs will sometimes chew off leaves to get inside and then eat the plant from the inside out. but some people are just mean.
