What is a good filter under $ 100 do not build waterfalls and lots of noise?
I've been asking simliar before and I got some great answers but I think the problem of falling water has to keep track of. tank in my bedroom and one of the previous answers I have learned and tetra AquaClear create waterfalls as well. so now it looks like one I have to look at the deposit / Underwater Filter. any suggestions? its a 40 gallon wide, with two RESS. cannot water level is that from its high for turtles thats why cannot I have the problem of falling water (too much noise) thanks again. yeah i really dont want to just my emperor ditch 400 ($ 50) I will be looking for ways to decrease noise from the waterfall. because the noise i defintely cannot run all the time.

My pond is pea green with algae and is recommened for the use of barley processing bags. Any body uses barley? if so, does it work? And long will it take?
It depends on what type of algae that you have - barley straw is very good filament type to algae, commonly known as blanket weed. I can use a liquid extract of barley straw to control this, and is very effective, also a little easier add mini bales of straw to the pond. In general, ensure there is plenty of shade in the water, including floating-leaved plants like water lilies, or even ornaments. Sure there is no runoff from the water garden pond, as this will add nutrients. If you can minimize sunlight, and nutrients such as nitrates clear your pond, algae do not get the two key things that need to grow. Another barley straw treatment that works, and is 100% natural, it's 'Response Blanket', that begins working immediately, giving me the fastest results. Treatment systems have been developed to mitigate this impact by preserving the pre-development hydrologic and water quality characteristics of the drainage areas. Understanding of the systems' treatment capabilities is required for stormwater management. The goal of this research was to study the application of a decay treatment model as a conceptual tool for understanding the pollutant removal characteristics of stormwater systems. Three systems were studied in this research: a sand filter, a gravel wetland, and a retention pond. The contaminants under consideration include: total suspended solids (TSS), total petroleum hydrocarbons - diesel range hydrocarbons (TPH-D), dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN, comprised of nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia), and zinc (Zn). The mathematical model was based on the mass balance principle and the assumption that an n-order decay model describes the complex processes of pollutant removal (for example sedimentation, biodegradation, filtration, plant uptake, and chemical precipitation). The model was defined by the parameters of removal rate (k) and the decay order (n). For each treatment system, a collection of storm events was monitored between 2004 and 2006. Monitoring of the treatment systems was performed in a side by side fashion so that each system received the same stormwater quantity and quality. This configuration made possible a comparison of the calibrated parameters obtained for each system. The best set of parameters of the decay model was determined by using a simulated annealing technique as part of the optimization process. Monte Carlo simulations were performed to describe the uncertainty of the estimated effluent concentrations. The gravel wetland achieved the highest median DIN and TSS removal rates. What type of waterproof paint can be used over a previously painted fountain?
I have a source that is being repaired. It need much work entirely too full remove all paint. All chips or cracks are being repaired, but now the pieces are about Finally, I'm ready to paint. The problem is that nobody can give me a definitive answer on which the paint adheres to the cement (artificial stone) and surfaces previously painted. I bought some paint from the pool since Lowe's was recommended previously painted surfaces sanded with 80 grit before using. I was going to paint this source with a minimum of three layers of this material and make sure it is completely dry between application. I was also considering a final coat with a sealer, but not I have no idea about that either. Will my plan work, or you can make some suggestions. I'm looking to hear from a professional painting and painting ponds / fountains / pools. Thank you.
