If you’re looking for something different, this is it! I was very pleased with the variety of patterns in this book, as well as the MANY photos! The only reason that I didn’t give it a five is that some of the patterns are a bit vague. One I did lacked any mention of how to end the main pieces…several lacked tension guides. Definitely for the experienced knitter.

This has some very nice simple patterns. Tea rose and sunny delight are my favorites. Some patterns are a little quirky, but with the right yarn could be made very nice. It has a good assortment of patterns and is great for inspiration.

This book is well put together with great photo’s but the skill of knitting is way over the head of this knitter. I was hoping for some small simple patterns to use up yarn, but these are very complicated. Seasoned knitters only.

I bought a few tea cozies by Now Design, and I have to say I don’t like them. I like the designs, but I don’t like the fact that they are made in China (not as good quality product). The batting is thin, and it doesn’t keep the tea hot for 3 or 4 hours like the tea cozies from 16 years ago that are made in US. My old tea cozy is about 6 inches thick! And the tea cozies from Now Design are about 2 inches thick. If I use one of my porcelain/bone china 2 cup teapots, (much smaller than the dome), it keeps the tea hot for about an hour. If I use one of my tempered glass teapot, it only keeps it hot for 45 minutes. If you have a 6 cup teapot (British measure), it’s closer to this size, and will keep your tea hot for 1-2 hours.

It’s really funny because all my friends who live in Shanghai China are all buying American and European made products, because they feel that a lot of Chinese manufacturers don’t spend time making quality products. Whereas here in the US, people are buying cheaper made in China products because they don’t care about quality or they don’t want quality.

The vendor (Superior Kitchen Gadgets) is excellent, and the shipping is fast, the packing is great. I have no problems with them. BTW, dome tea cozies keep tea hotter than the wraparound ones. For me, this is only OK. I’ll keep looking.

Bought a couple of these and have been using them for over a year. Very nice! Just bought two more as gifts. These really keep our teapots warm for a long time, especially if you push them right down. And, as always, it helps to put the base on something insulating, like wood or cork.

This tea cozy is not only pretty, it keeps your tea hot in the pot for hours. My house guest liked it so much I ended up giving it to her, and now I have to order another one for myself!
